What is a fine art school portrait?

Fine Art School Portraits are a modern approach to school photos. My goal is to capture the children’s personalities by providing a fun and relaxed environment. No forced smiles or busy backgrounds. This results in authentic, timeless portraits. The background will be black and the photos will be simple and classic. Instead of forcing a cheesy grin, the children will be encouraged to be themselves and will never be forced to smile.

What services do you offer?

My school portrait services is run completely online. Families are provided a link to a password-protected online ordering gallery. Each child will have approximately 2 - 5 images both in colour and black and white. Detailed instructions for shooting day prep and ordering instructions will be provided.

Digital and print options are available. Prints are all ordered online and delivered to the school. I handle all questions from parents and families about ordering and packages.

I will do an initial walk through of the school to determine the best location for the school portraits. I work mostly with natural light but should I need lighting equipment this will be provided by me.

I aim to provide a personal and professional service by taking on a few daycares & schools throughout the year. This allows me to provide superior customer service to each school.

What are your prices?

The school does not pay for this service. I offer competitive pricing to families and nothing is due up front.  Sample pricing sheet available upon request.

What time of year do you offer these school portraits?

I individually work with schools to schedule portraits anytime during the academic year and throughout the calendar year for daycare centres.
